So, I'm doin' this whole Jimmy Fund Walk in September...

If you have any interest in donating money to cancer research, please rock on so that I can walk on.

Every little bit really helps. Seriously. They may have a minimum amount that you have to donate (which, if they do, I think that's total crap), but feel free to send to my apartment any pennies and dimes you have, and I'll be sure they get passed along--don't send quarters, 'cause I'd be tempted to steal them for laundry ;). I am, of course, kidding. I'm a little terrified of the whole walking 26.2 miles thing, but if anything is worth it to me, this cause is...

...and if you feel the same way but don't have the dollars, just talk about the walk to people you know. Publicity is an amazing thing, and you also never know how much you could make a difference in someone's life by just stressing the fact that there are researchers out there doin' their best to find a cure...and that we can all hope for a better future.
